Ever seen those videos of a successful launch with floods of orders coming in? Great on camera - but as with most things, it's not what it seems. The hype around this drop would sell out our entire stock in a few minutes. Seconds later you'd find them online for three, four, five times the retail price. That has nothing to do with love for the game or the design. It's pure profit thinking. Nothing real, nothing good, nothing human.

For you - the form will take a few more minutes to fill out, and you won't get an instant confirmation. What you do get is a real shot at a pair, no refreshing pages, no planning your day around a drop, and no paying reseller prices. Your kidneys are safe.

For us - this is a lot more work. Every entry reviewed, every order processed by hand. Not exactly what we mean when we say we love working with our hands - but we're doing it anyway, and we mean it.

It's a tradeoff on both sides. But it's worth it. This is our way of making a digital experience feel a little more physical, a little more personal.

We're excited about it.

This project started from a women's wear perspective - that was the brief. Our approach to design has never been too concerned with those distinctions, and the response to this launch makes that clear.

What we didn't anticipate was the demand for larger sizes. We didn't order enough, and there's no way to reorder at this point. Even with this new system, if you need a large size, we may not be able to get you a pair from our website. That's on us - a real miss, and one of the most important things we're taking into the future.

We're genuinely sorry.

We've been fully independent and self-financed for over 11 years. No backing, no safety nets. Every piece of stock on our website is purchased by us - a real investment, a real risk. As much as we believe in our work, we have too much responsibility to our team to bet everything on a single launch.

Every brand does this differently. This is our way. It's what protects our freedom to make work we actually stand behind.

Unconventional, inventive, and way too idealistic for our own good.

We are about as far from Amazon as you can get - and honestly, from Nike too. Which is part of what makes this collaboration so exciting. It's also why we can't offer discounted shipping. We work with standard third-party carriers, no custom accounts, no volume deals. Not yet.

International shipping is the hardest part. The costs are high enough that we considered not offering it at all. We're offering it anyway, but we need to be honest: the margins are thin, and we can't absorb losses that could genuinely hurt us. There's also a small handling fee added to the retail price - this covers the extra hands needed to process orders the way we're doing it this time.

If you'd like to arrange your own shipping label, we're offering that option in the form. It will likely mean a longer processing time on our end, but we want to make it work for as many people as possible. Any duties or customs charges on international orders fall on you. We’d rather be upfront about that than have it come as a surprise.

We wish we could do this differently. For now, this is the honest version of what we can offer.
